The following events will take place the week of July 14-20 at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
9 a.m. Class: Get Fit by Video
11:15 a.m. Class: Delay the Disease: fitness program for those with Parkinson's Disease; $30 for 12 weeks, pre-register
11:15 a.m. Program: State of the County Report, Wood County
Noon-Lunch: Cordon Bleu Casserole or Stuffed Pepper  
1 p.m. Wii Bowling
1-4 p.m. Contract Bridge and Euchre

9 a.m. Breakfast Edition: Memory for Life cognitive training session; pre-registration required by today
10 a.m. Class: Club F.I.T. - registration required
10a.m.-12 p.m. Blood Pressure Clinic: County Senior Center
11 a.m. Program: Ohio Presidents and Their First Ladies featuring President Benjamin Harrison
Noon Lunch: Roast Pork or Almond Fish  
1-3 p.m. Pickleball: Rossford Community Rec Center, 400 Dixie Highway; fee, registration required      
2:30 p.m. Scrabble
4:30 p.m. Readers Café: Featured book: "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel, registration required
5:30 p.m. Dinner: Corned Beef, boiled potatoes, registration required by 2 p.m.
6 p.m. Dominoes
6:30 p.m. Class: Rug Hooking with Mick Altherr, registration required

10:30 a.m. Wii Bowling
11 a.m. Entertainment: Singer Brad Kepler - sponsored by BG Manor

9 a.m. -3p.m. Guiding Pathways: First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, BG; $10; monthly gathering for those with mild to moderate cognitive impairment. Advance registration required     
10 a.m. Watercolor Art Class: Free and open to the public, bring own supplies
10 a.m. Cards: Hand and Foot
10 a.m. Class: Zumba with Taylor Newlove; $20 for 8 weeks, pre-register
Noon Lunch: Goulash or Salmon Loaf                
1 p.m. Class: Tai Chi; registration required

11:30 a.m. Dominoes and Euchre Tournament: Lunch served at 11:30 a.m.; games at 12:30

Those over age 60 determine for themselves what they are able to contribute for meals; however, a $2 suggested donation is appreciated for lunches and $4 for dinners.  Dinner reservations are needed by 2 p.m. of that day. Call (419) 353-5661.

Wood County Fair's Senior Day 2013: Thursday, Aug. 1 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Wood County Fairgrounds, 13800 W. Poe Road, BG. All events and entertainment held under the tent near Gate B and C. Entertainment sponsored by Wood Haven Health Care, Heritage Corner Health Care Campus, Northwest Ohio Medical Equipment, Sterling House of BG and Caretakers Home Care Services. Lunch is sponsored by Bowling Green Manor, Interim Health Care, Briar Hill Health Campus, Southern Care and Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Community.  Reservations are required by July 26.
