The following events will take place the week of July 1-6 at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
9 a.m. Class: Get Fit by Video
11:15 a.m. Class: Delay the Disease: fitness program for those with Parkinson's Disease - registration required
11:15 a.m. Program: Food News You Can Use Owens Community College Nutrition Students
Noon Lunch: Chicken Florentine Casserole or Veal Patty
1 p.m. Wii Bowling
1-4 p.m. Contract Bridge and Euchre

9 a.m. Breakfast Club: Country Farmhouse, 117 E. Main St., Wayne; host George Hubbell, registration required
9-11 a.m. Class: Piano Lessons - $10 for 30 minutes
10 a.m. Class: Club F.I.T. - registration required
Noon Lunch: Roast Beef or Honey Mustard Chicken Breast
12-1 p.m. Program: Living Well with Parkinson's Disease - guest speaker Molly Scott, NP from the University of Toledo Gardner-McMaster Parkinson Center, advance registration required; lunch provided
1-3 p.m. Pickleball: Rossford Community Recreation Center, registration and fee      
2:30 p.m. Scrabble
4:30 p.m. Readers Café: Featured book: "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel, registration required
5:30 p.m. Dinner: Roast Beef, scalloped potatoes, registration required by 2 p.m.
6 p.m. Dominoes

10:30 a.m. Wii Bowling
Noon Lunch: Sloppy Joe or Shredded Chicken Sandwich     
12-1:30 p.m. NAMI Connections Recovery Support Group for individuals with a mental illness, 541 W. Wooster St., 2nd floor, Bowling Green
12-3 p.m. Computer Help Desk: By appointment
1-4 p.m. Class: Mah Jongg
1 p.m. Cribbage Interest Group
2 p.m. Grocery Shopping at Meijer, registration required
5:30 p.m. Dinner: Chicken Tenders, ranch fries, Registration required by 2 p.m.
6 p.m. Class: Zumba, certified instructor: Taylor Newlove. Cost: $20 for 8 weeks, registration required

Independence Day - All Sites Closed
12 p.m. Lunch only: Wood County Senior Center, BG; Advance registration required

10 a.m. Watercolor Art Class: Free and open to the public, bring own supplies
10 a.m. Cards: Hand and Foot
10 a.m. Class: Zumba with Taylor Newlove; $20 for 8 weeks, registration required
Noon Lunch: Chicken Pot Pie or Cabbage Roll              
1 p.m. Class: Tai Chi - registration required

No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost.  Participants shall determine for themselves what they are able to contribute.  A $2 suggested donation is appreciated for lunches and $4 for dinners.  Dinner reservations are needed by 2 p.m. of that day.  For menu information, call (419) 353-5661 or (800) 367-4935

Community Outreach Take Flight Project: The Program Planning Group of Northwest Ohio is planning a day of community action to raise funds for the Honor Flight of Northwest Ohio. Simply purchase your adventure pilot wings for $1 and all the proceeds will benefit this cause. Wear your wings on Friday, July 19 and show your support of our veterans.
