SATURDAY, JUNE 15
11:30 a.m. Dominoes and Euchre Tournament, Lunch 11:30 a.m., games at 12:30
No person over 60 shall be denied nutrition services because of failure to contribute all or part of the cost. Participants determine for themselves what they are able to contribute. Ticket sales continue for the June 27 Downtown Diva Nite, a women's-only night of refreshments, chocolate desserts, a jewelry extravaganza and "celebrity" purse auction. It will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling Green. Participants are encouraged to bring in slightly used purses and jewelry for a sale table. Tickets are $5, to benefit the Wood County Committee on Aging "Senior Center on Call" telephone program for those who are homebound. Call or email the senior center to register.
The event is sponsored by St. Clare Commons, Southern Care and Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Community.
