The following events will take place the week of May 12-18 at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
9 a.m. Class: Get Fit by Video
11 a.m. Program: BGSU Baseball Team Trivia: wear orange and brown to support the team and test your baseball knowledge
11:15 a.m. Class: Delay the Disease: an evidence-based fitness program for people with Parkinson's Disease; $30 for 12 weeks, registration required
Noon-Lunch: Hamburger or Hot Dog
1 p.m.Wii Bowling
1-4 p.m. Contract Bridge and Euchre
1:30 p.m. Parkinson's Support Group at county senior center, facilitated by David Buenting
2:30 p.m. Alzheimer's Association Group: County senior center, facilitated by Buenting
4 p.m. Trip: Mystery Restaurant, $2; advance registration required
9-11 a.m. Class: Piano Lessons with Teresa Batterson: $10 for 30 minutes, registration required

1 p.m. Transitions Group: For those with mild to moderate cognitive impairment. Meetings will be educational and social. Theme: Dine and Discuss at SamB's, 163 S. Main, BG. Collaboration with the Alzheimer's Assoc. and Clare Bridge of BG; registration required

9 a.m.-3 p.m. Guiding Pathways: First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, BG; $10. Monthly gathering for those with mild to moderate cognitive impairment; advance registration required
10 a.m. Watercolor Art Class: Free and open to the public, bring own supplies
10 a.m. Cards: Hand and Foot
Noon Lunch: Spaghetti & Meatsauce or Italian Chicken Thigh
1 p.m. Wii Bowling
1 p.m. Class: Tai Chi, registration required
SATURDAY, MAY 18
11:30 a.m. Dominoes and Euchre Tournament, Lunch served at 11:30 a.m. and games at 12:30; prizes sponsored by Caretakers
For those 60-plus, a $2 suggested donation is appreciated for lunches and $4 for dinners. Dinner reservations are needed by 2 p.m. of that day. For menus, call (419) 353-5661 or (800) 367-4935
Downtown Diva Nite will be June 27 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling Green.
Ladies are invited to a night of refreshments, chocolate desserts, a jewelry extravaganza and purse auction. Donated purses from local and regional celebrities will be auctioned off. Participants may bring used purses and jewelry for a sale table.
Entertainment and a fun auction are planned. Proceeds will benefit the Wood County Committee on Aging "Senior Center on Call" project, a telephone program for those who are homebound.
Tickets, at $5 per person, go on sale May 27.
The event is sponsored by St. Clare Commons, Southern Care, and Otterbein Portage Valley.
