ADVANCE PLANNING
90 Plus Spectacular: May 19 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Drive, Bowling
Green. This dinner party will consist of corsages for the 90 plus participants sponsored by Sterling
House, a slide show, entertainment and awards recognition of those 90 years and older from the county
commissioners and elected officials sponsored by Wood Haven. Family members and friends are invited to
attend the event. Dinner for those 90 and over is sponsored by Heritage Corner and Deck-Hanneman Funeral
Home and Crematory. Guest will need to reserve their seats with advance payment for dinner. Special
diets available with advanced notice. Registration required by Monday, May 5. Biographies and pictures
are to be returned by Monday, May 5 to the Wood County Committee on Aging, 305 N. Main St., Bowling

Downtown Diva Night: June 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling
Green. Tickets: $5 per person. Ladies’ night out with decadent desserts, appetizers and mocktails.
Sponsored by Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Communities, St. Clare Commons and SouthernCare.
Purchase new and gently used designer jewelry and purses or bid on dinner for two with local
celebrities. Vendors with wares and information on health care, accessories, fashion, pampering tips and
more. All proceeds from event fund the county’s "Senior Center on Call Program" a weekly
telephone program designed to promote lifelong learning for older adults. For more information or to
