The following events will take place the week of April 27 - May 3 at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
9 a.m.  Class: Get Fit by Video
10:30 a.m.  Intergenerational Fun Day: All About the Kids Theme: Insects & Butterflies
11:15 a.m.  Program: Menu Talk - Angie Bradford, WCCOA director of food services
Noon Lunch:  Cream of Broccoli Soup or Vegetable Soup
1 p.m.  Wii Bowling
1 p.m.  Class: Water Fitness, Bowling Green Care Center, 850 W. Poe, Bowling Green; $15 for 6 weeks, must pre-register
1-4 p.m.  Contract Bridge and Euchre
2 p.m.  Class: Water Fitness, BG Care Center

10 a.m.   Class: Club F.I.T.
10 a.m.  Water Fitness: a beginners class, BG Care Center; $15 for 6 wks., advance registration
11 a.m.  Water Fitness: an advanced class, BG Care Center; $15 for 6 wks.
Noon Lunch:  Chicken & Dumplings or Hamloaf
1-3 p.m.  Pickleball: Rossford Community Recreation Center, 400 Dixie Highway; fee, registration required

5:30 p.m.  Dinner: Veal Parmesan, cauliflower, register by 2 p.m.
6 p.m.  Movie: Last Vegas

4:30 p.m.  Concert Series: Abby Paskavan, Southern Gospel singer; get your concert passport stamped to be eligible to win a prize at the end of the series
5:30 p.m.  Dinner: Greek Salad with Chicken, grape salad
6 p.m.  Class: Delay the Disease; $30 for 12 weeks, registration required
6 p.m.  Movie Night with BGSU students - refreshments and "Casablanca"

90 Plus Spectacular: May 19 at 3:30 p.m. at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 315 S. College Drive, Bowling Green. This dinner party will consist of corsages for the 90 plus participants sponsored by Sterling House, a slide show, entertainment and awards recognition of those 90 years and older from the county commissioners and elected officials sponsored by Wood Haven. Family members and friends are invited to attend the event. Dinner for those 90 and over is sponsored by Heritage Corner and Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home and Crematory. Guest will need to reserve their seats with advance payment for dinner.  Special diets available with advanced notice. Registration required by Monday, May 5. Downtown Diva Night: June 26 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at First Christian Church, 875 Haskins Road, Bowling Green. Tickets: $5 per person. Ladies' night out with decadent desserts, appetizers and mocktails. Sponsored by Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Communities, St. Clare Commons and SouthernCare. Purchase new and gently used designer jewelry and purses or bid on dinner for two with local celebrities. Vendors with wares and information on health care, accessories, fashion, pampering tips and more. All proceeds from event fund the county's "Senior Center on Call Program" a weekly telephone program designed to promote lifelong learning for older adults.
