The following events will take place the week of March 3-9 at the Wood County Senior Center, 305 N. Main St., Bowling Green.
MONDAY
9 a.m. Class: Get Fit by Video
10 a.m. Woodworking Class: Instructor Ted Sipes; cost: $10, advance registration required
11:15 a.m. Program: Stretching for Life, sponsored by Heartland Rehabilitation
Noon-Lunch: Chipped Beef or Creamed Chicken  
1 p.m. Wii Bowling

TUESDAY   
9 a.m. Breakfast Club at BG Bob Evans; host George Hubbell, registration required
9-11 a.m. Class: Piano Lessons, certified instructor: Theresa Batterson. Cost: $10 for 30 minutes, registration required
10 a.m. Class: Club F.I.T. sponsored by Sterling House of BG, registration required
Noon Lunch: Cordon Bleu Casserole or Mushroom Steak      
12-5 p.m. AARP Taxes- appointments required contact Holly Canfield
1-3 p.m. Pickleball, Rossford Community Rec Center, 400 Dixie Highway; fee, pre-register  
2:30 p.m. Scrabble: host Willard Misfeldt
4:30 p.m. Readers Café: Featured book: "Precious" by Sapphire, registration required
5:30 p.m. Dinner: Open Faced Turkey, mashed potatoes, registration required by 2 p.m.
6 p.m. Dominoes

WEDNESDAY
9 a.m. Class: Healthy U: Chronic Pain Self-Management: Free six-week workshop for those with chronic pain. Pre-registration required
9:30-11:30 a.m. AARP Taxes: appointments required, contact Holly Canfield
10:30 a.m. Healthy Steps Class: Heartland Rehab Services; $20 for 8 weeks, registration required
10:30 a.m. Wii Bowling
Noon-Lunch  Roast Beef or Salmon Loaf                 
12-1:30 p.m. NAMI Connections Recovery Support Group; weekly group for those with a mental illness, 541 W. Wooster Ave., 2nd Floor, BG

5:30 p.m. Dinner: Chicken Florentine, broccoli   
6 p.m. Yoga Class: $20 for 8 weeks, sponsored by Sterling House, registration required
7 p.m. Program: Thursday Night Skype - advance registration required

FRIDAY, MARCH 8

1 p.m. Class: Tai Chi, certified instructors: Taoist Tai Chi Society-USA, registration required

Podiatry Clinic: March 15 at 9 a.m. at county senior center. Provided by Mobile Care Group and Dr. Washburn; Medicare, Medicaid and most insurance plans accepted. Private pay rates also available. Note: It is the participant's responsibility to check with their insurance company about coverage and co-pays. Copy of your insurance card required to secure an appointment.
