The Wood County Committee on Aging (WCCOA) invites older adults in Wood County to submit their creative, original poems for the seventh annual poetry contest, with the theme "Life's Moments."
The contest was designed to showcase the talents of Wood County seniors through acknowledgement and publications of their poems.
The poems will be placed on the WCCOA blog (woodcountycommitteeonaging.blogspot.com) for the world to see. Voting for the winning poem will take place at all senior center sites in the county and via the blog site.
A video of the winning poem will be placed on the WCCOA website and Facebook page.
