Rudolph-Liberty-Westwood alumni hold 97th banquet
TONTOGANY - The Rudolph-Liberty-Westwood Alumni Association held their 97th alumni banquet last Saturday, May 4 at the Lybarger-Grimm American Legion Hall.
Honored class attendees were from the classes of 1943, 1953, and 1963.
The oldest person in attendance was Robert Herringshaw, 95, from the Class of 1936.
Next year's banquet will be held May 3, 2014 at the same location in Tontogany.
The officers for next year will be James Smith, president; Tom Webb, secretary; and Janet Madigan, treasurer.
Anyone who did not receive an invitation and would like one mailed to them next year should call Madigan at (419) 385-0524.
Alzheimer's Assoc. hosts 'Experience the Theatre'
TOLEDO - The Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter and the University of Toledo's Department of Theatre and Film will present a workshop on "Theatre Improv Activities" next Friday, May 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Alzheimer's Association, 2500 N. Reynolds Road. The workshop will focus on improvisation and acting techniques and is designed for persons who have mild memory loss.
