Senior citizen prom set May 1
PERRYSBURG — The Perrysburg High School Senior Class will again host a Senior Citizen Prom this year as they have for the past several years. Seniors are invited to come enjoy an evening of dinner, entertainment and dancing on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. in the High School Commons, 13385 Roachton Road.
The entertainment will be various vocal and instrumental music groups from PHS. The evening will end with some music for dancing.
There is no cost to seniors for admission. It is the senior class at PHS giving back to the community. No tickets necessary — just show up.
“It’s a lot of fun, and it can bring a tear to the eyes to watch the high school students interacting with the seniors,” stated Deb Drew, PHS English teacher and class advisor. “They serve them their meals, talk with them and dance with them at the end of the night. It is a feel-good evening.”
