Washington Twp. alumni reunion May 11 TONTOGANY - The 2013 Washington Township Alumni Association reunion will be held May 11 in the Otsego Elementary School. Members of the planning committee are Bob Kidd, Wayne Michaelis Jr., Janice Crozier Kaiser, Jacqueline Fox Shank, Betty Mertz Buehrer and David Mertz. A letter will be mailed the first of April to alumni, former teachers, friends and students at the former school in Tontogany. New Adventures singles to go rock climbing The New Adventures group, for those who find themselves alone again, is planning a Rock Climbing Excursion for their next gathering. It will be held April 23 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bowling Green State University Recreation Center. Meet at the Elder Beerman parking lot at 12:40 p.m. or park at the recreation center (parking cost $5) across the street from the ice arena. Try rock climbing in a safe environment using the climbing wall room. Learn the techniques for climbing and then try out the various levels of difficulty. All participants will have a harness and adaptive equipment is available for wheelchairs and those who have trouble walking. An educational session on geology will take place after climbing.
