Memory classes offered
PERRYSBURG - A Memory Action program will be offered on five consecutive Wednesdays at the Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave.
Series dates are  Feb. 27, March 6, 13, 20 and 27 and April 3 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Designed by Dr. Robin West, recipient of the Mind Alert Award from the American Society on Aging, these sessions improve your memory by teaching basic techniques that allow you to change your "memory lifestyle". Manuals, sponsored by Heritage Corner Healthcare Campus and Right at Home Health Care, are available for use. A deposit of $10 is required for use of manual and will be returned if condition of book is in original state.

Alzheimer's Assoc. hosts 'Australian Walkabout' at zoo
TOLEDO - Here's a chance to visit Australia from the comfort of the Toledo Zoo. The local Alzheimer's Association will host "An Australian Walkabout: A Visit from the Toledo Zoo"" a free event at the zoo on Feb. 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  
The Toledo Zoo staff will take individuals with Alzheimer's along with their friends and family on an armchair journey through the continent of Australia. Learn about the diversity of life in the Land Down Under and meet some live zoo animals. Friends and family are welcome as guests.
This will be an interactive presentation with live animals, snacks, and camaraderie.
