Alzheimer's caregiver support groups meet Tuesday
The Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter is hosting caregiver support groups in both Bowling Green and Perrysburg on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The Bowling Green group will meet at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 315 South College Drive. Use the church library entrance off the parking lot.
The Perrysburg group meets at Way Public Library, 101 E. Indiana Ave.
These caregiver groups are free and open to the public. Registration is not required. However, it is suggested that you contact the facilitator of the group you plan to attend for the first time to confirm the time, place and date of the meeting. The Bowling Green group facilitator is David Buenting, 419-352-7558. The facilitator for Perrysburg is Lynn Ritter at 419-537-1999.

Perrysburg Commons will deliver Heart-A-Grams
PERRYSBURG - The staff of Perrysburg Commons Retirement Center is offering a way to say "Happy Valentine's Day" to that special senior citizen in your life.  
During the week of Feb. 11 the staff will be delivering a complimentary Valentine's Day box filled with a half dozen heart-shaped cookies to anyone over the age of 65, with a Perrysburg address.  
To place an order, contact Perrysburg Commons at (419) 874-1931.  A complete address and phone number must be included stating where the delivery is going, along with a message from you.  
Orders must be received by Saturday.
Perrysburg Commons Retirement Center is located at 10542 Fremont Pike, Perrysburg.

Owens to host Valentine's Day card-making session Feb. 13
FINDLAY - Area residents are invited to put their creative card-making skills to the test, as well as spread a little cheer to seniors residing at Findlay's Birchaven Village, as the Owens Community College Findlay-area campus serves as host to a free Valentine's Day Card Community Outreach event on Wednesday.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. in the Education Center Atrium on the Findlay-area campus on Bright Road.
Participants will construct and decorate Valentine's Day cards for community members at Birchaven Village. Attendees will be encouraged to provide an inspirational message within each card.
