Public meeting called for input on new senior housing
PERRYSBURG - Residents of Perrysburg are invited to participate in a meeting about a proposed senior housing development planned for Lighthouse Way. The meeting will take place twice on Feb. 5 at the Perrysburg Senior Center, 140 W. Indiana Ave.
There will be a 12:30 p.m. session after lunch. The presentation will be done by Pete Schwiegeraht of the Miller-Valentine Company and Don Corley of WSOS Community Action Commission. The two will present information on a proposal to construct a senior rental housing development on Lighthouse Way, a mile south of Levis Commons in Perrysburg.
The same presentation will be available to the general public at 4 p.m. at the same location.
Input from area residents are important to this project, so WSOS requests that residents attend one of these two sessions.
For more information on this meeting, contact Cheryl Fix, the Perrysburg Senior Center manager, at 419-874-0847.
Senior Gathering slated Thursday
WAYNE - Senior Gathering will be held next Thursday at noon at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church at the corner of Bays and Reynolds Roads.
