Road safety for seniors

The City of Bowling Green, along with AARP and the Wood County Committee on Aging will hold a road safety
program for seniors on Aug. 8.
"Road Safety Education: To Keep YOU Safe" will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the City of
Bowling Green Facilities Building, 815 East Poe Road. Those attending should enter in on the north side
of the building. Lunch will be provided by Wood County Beef Producers.
Those attending will experience the following:
• Educational Seminars consisting of updates on traffic laws, tips for safe driving, etc.
• CarFit An educational program sponsored by AAA, AARP and AOTA that offers older adults the opportunity
to check how well their personal vehicles fit them.
• Booths related to adaptive vehicle equipment, transportation,
