MAUMEEĀ  - Quartermania Night will be held April 19 at the Maumee Senior Center, 2430 S. Detroit Ave.
The evening begins with a meal of shredded chicken sandwiches, chips, macaroni salad, beverage and sundae bar at 5 p.m. Also during this time, visitors can view auction items, purchase additional bid paddles and gather quarters for bidding.
The Quartermania Auction follows the dinner. For those new to the game, Quartermania is a cross between a drawing and an auction. Bidders place inexpensive bids in quarter increments to have a chance to win their favorite item.
The cost to attend is $5.50 per person, which includes dinner, one free paddle and .50 to bid.
The public is welcome to attend. For dinner reservations or to order carry-out, call the Maumee Senior Center at 419-893-1994.
