People gather for a senior citizens’ lunch at Mt. Zion United Brethren Church near Wayne on March 28. The monthly dinner, offered free to area seniors and their friends, is held on the fourth Thursday of each month at noon at the church on the corner of Bays and Reynolds Roads. The event is becoming increasingly popular in the area; at last count, attendance averages between 120 and 140 people. Live entertainment is always provided.
