Bowling Green Manor residents John Reisner (from left), Jack Feasel and Eugene Goetz  stand in front of the sign for the manor’s designated veterans’ parking space. Feasel and Goetz served in the Army; Reisner is an Air Force veteran.
On Sunday Bowling Green Manor, along with several other HCF Care communities, celebrated Veteran's Day by dedicating a parking spot for veterans and wounded warriors.
The dedication began with the pledge of allegiance, a Veteran's Prayer, and patriotic videos.
Resident Council President John Reisner - himself a veteran - then dedicated the sign to all veterans and wounded warriors who visit BG Manor.  The ceremony ended with everyone singing The Star Spangled Banner. The residents then shared cookies and punch in the front lobby.
The complete list of veterans currently residing at BG Manor follows:
Robert Bowers, Robert Corkwell, Jack Feasel, Eugene Goetz, Reisner, John Tyson, Cynthia Witte and Loren Roe.
