PERRYSBURG - The Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, will host "Living with Alzheimer's: For Caregivers," a free community workshop to be held on Tuesdays, April 2, 9, and 16 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Kingston Residence of Perrysburg, 333 East Boundary St.
This three-part series will focus on issues relevant to families beginning to encounter Alzheimer's or other dementia, or who seek further information. Topics include symptoms, diagnosis, risk factors, behaviors, personality changes, medications, home and facility care, legal and financial information related to dementia, and available community services. Marilyn Ward, social worker, is the presenter and facilitator.
