Bowling Green Class of '63 holds 50th reunion PDF Print E-mail

The Bowling Green High School Class of 1963 Class held their 50th class reunion on Saturday. In attendance were 70 class members plus their spouses.
The class enjoyed appetizers and dinner at the Bowling Green County Club. Each member received a memory book and directory, and throughout the afternoon and evening, pictures were taken of class members.
The group also viewed a DVD of their school years and past gatherings.
A silent auction was held with paintings, pen and ink drawings, and jewelry created by class members and their spouses and other donated items. Bowling Green City merchants generously provided some of the auction gifts as well as items for door prizes.
Those coming the farthest distance to the reunion included classmates from Arizona, California, Florida, and Nevada.
Later that evening, many class members joined together to attend the Wood County Fair and listen to the music of the Beach Boys.

Serving on the reunion committee were: Linda Parsons Wolfe, Nancy Miller Myerholtz, Sharon Crawford Drain, Andy Newman Hahn, Jerrie Potter Hutton, Rex and Flo Klopfenstein, Laurel Dimick Krone, Judy Jorgensen Lank, Tammy Knauss Premo, Sue Ann Bortel Thomas and Dale and Laura Pockett.
