A program titled "Memory Matters" will be offered Aug. 27 at Sterling House of Bowling Green.
The 6 p.m. presentation by Lynn Ritter, Ph.D., from the Alzheimer's Association, is subtitled "Staying a Friend to Someone With Memory Loss."
Anyone who has a friend with Alzheimer's disease may have questions about what to expect and how to cope. Ritter will offer practical solutions for maintaining a positive friendship, even in the midst of memory loss.
Admission is free and complimentary refreshments will be served.
Sterling House, which offers both assisted living and Alzheimer's-dementia care, through Clare Bridge, is located at 121 N. Wintergarden Road.
