|Alzheimer's Association, Toledo Museum of Art add hands-on 'Brush with Art'|

TOLEDO - The Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, is hosting "Meet Me at TMA and A Brush with Art" on the following days and times: Meet Me at TMA (Toledo Museum of Art) is Saturday, May 4 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the subject "Crossing Cultures: Australian Aboriginal Art." Join the group for an armchair "walk-about" in this exhibition featuring works from the Australian Outback.
A Brush with Art is slated for May 10 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The activity: Creating Aboriginal-inspired art.
"Meet Me at TMA" and the new "A Brush with Art" are free monthly programs held on Fridays and Saturdays. Co-sponsored with the Toledo Museum of Art, they are designed to provide fun. Friends and family are welcome to accompany the visitor. Meet Me at TMA provides an interactive tour of selected works from the museum collection, led by trained docents. A Brush with Art adds hands-on experiences.
Guests should meet at the information desk, just inside the Grove Place entrance to the main museum building. Galleries are fully accessible and free wheelchairs are available at each entrance. The Toledo Museum of Art is located at 2445 Monroe St. Parking is free for museum members and $5 for non-members, with financial assistance available.
