Stein-90thEdwin J. Stein, formerly of Bowling Green, will celebrate his 90th birthday on Tuesday.  
Ed was born Sept. 3, 1923 to Frank and Alice Stein just north of Bowling Green.  He lived in the Bowling Green area for 62 years.  
Stein served in the Marine Corps from 1942-1945 in the South Pacific.  He worked at Willys Overland of Toledo and then at the Chrysler Plant in Perrysburg Township from 1962 until retiring in 1986 and moving to Florida with wife Bonnie, now deceased.  
He has two daughters, Gloria Cramer of Wayne and Susan Sinclair of Seminole, Fla.  A son, William, is deceased.  He has four grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
His two brothers and three surviving sisters all live in Wood County.  
He and his present wife, Doris, reside at 308 Andros, Sarasota, Fla. 34233.  
Stein still participates in bowling, shuffle board and Boccie ball.
