Once again, Wood County officials will join with area clergy for the National Day of Prayer observance on Thursday.
Held on the first Thursday of May each year, this year's theme is "One Voice United in Prayer."
The county's rally will again be held in the shadow of the Wood County Courthouse at noon on the steps of the former main entrance on Court Street.
Prayer leaders and will include Rev. Helen Dukes, Rev. Dale Schaefer, Rev. Rick Adams, Rev. David Boswell, Rev. Rob Warner, Rev. Jenny Jackson,   Rev. Steve Baney with speakers state legislators Randy Garner and Tim Brown, and Wood County Sheriff  Mark Wasylyshyn.
Rev. Kristel Asmus, coordinator will introduce and close the program.
