PERRYSBURG - St. Timothy's Episcopal Church has announced the appointment of Rev. Mr. Jeffry L. Bunke as the new rector of the church.
On Sept. 29 Bunke will begin to lead worship services with celebrations of the Eucharist at 8 and 10 a.m.
After hearing the Spirit's voice on Pentecost Sunday, Bunke set out on his journey to become part of the St. Timothy community. Coming from St. Anne's parish in West Chester, with previous roles at Grace in Port Orange, Fla.; St. John's in Cuyahoga Falls; and St. Paul's in Maumee; he brings what church officials call "a rich and varied experience to the community. At his previous assignments he has helped to facilitate congregational growth. The church's notice of his appointment states, "His love and appreciation for music will support the inclusion of arts as an integral part of worship at the church."
The church is located at 871 E. Boundary in Perrysburg.
