Rev. Chris Walter arrives at First United Methodist Church in Bowling Green from Salem UMC in Bettsville, where he served as the senior pastor. In addition to serving at Salem UMC he was the youth pastor at Trinity UMC in Fremont.
Prior to arriving in Bettsville in January 2012, Walter served as the youth pastor in Dayton at Belmont UMC for seven years. Prior to entering ministry full-time, he worked for NCR Corporation within Global Management. These positions allowed  him to travel the world to places throughout Europe and Asia experiencing many different cultures.
Walter is married. He and Amanda have two daughters, Amber and Brynn.
