Lutheran Homes Society to hold its annual meeting in Perrysburg PDF Print E-mail

PERRYSBURG - Lutheran Homes Society will hold its 153rd annual meeting on April 22 at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E. Indiana Avenue in Perrysburg.
The evening event will feature keynote speaker Charlotte Haberaecker, president and CEO of Lutheran Services in America, headquartered in Washington, D.C.
Her presentation, titled "LSA: Moving Forward in Strength," will highlight the national network of more than 300 Lutheran health and human service organizations that serve one in 50 Americans and provide more than $18 billion in services annually.
She was elected to her position by LSA's Board of Directors in July 2012.  Prior to joining LSA, she was chief operating officer of Global Impact, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds for critical humanitarian needs at home and around the world.
The 2013 LHS annual meeting will begin with registration at 6:30 p.m. An opening worship service will be held in the sanctuary at 7 p.m., followed by the meeting at 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served in the Family Life Center at the end of the evening.
The event is open to individuals interested in the mission and ministry of Lutheran Homes Society.
