PERRYSBURG - Vineyard Church in Perrysburg will be hosting the "Living Out the Kingdom Conference with Robby Dawkins" on Feb. 8-10.
In the Gospels, the centerpiece of Jesus' message as it state's in Mark's Gospel was "the Kingdom of God is near." The he demonstrated the message by healing the sick, casting out demons and living in a naturally supernatural way.
The church invites the public in welcoming Dawkins as he teaches and leads in what organizers say is "experiencing a break-in of the Kingdom."
Dawkins is a fifth-generation pastor who was born to missionary parents in Japan. He served as a youth pastor for 12 years before he and his wife, Angie, planted a church in a poor urban area in Aurora, Ill. 16 years ago.
He has been featured in the movies "Furious Love" and "Father of Lights."
The conference will be held next Friday at 7 p.m.; Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. and  at 10 a.m. Feb. 10. Dawkins will also hold a special workshop for teens and college students at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 9.
This is a free event, but an offering will be received.
The church is located at 210 E. South Boundary, Perrysburg.
