Live nativity returns to Luckey

LUCKEY – Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Luckey will hold its annual "Journey to the
Nativity" on Saturday, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The Eastwood Band, under the direction of Brian Meyers and Mathew Safford, will be performing traditional
Christmas music inside the chapel. Multiple nativities will be lining the back of the Narthex.
In addition, a wide variety of Christmas goodies and treats along with hot chocolate, coffee and juices
will be served.
The journey will begin inside the church and will walk visitors through the story starting with the
shepherds and their actual sheep, on to the three kings before arriving at the manger where Jesus was
born.
As this live nativity is played out in the church’s front yard, there will be a radio version
broadcasting for those who cannot get out of their cars that would like to still view the program.
This Jesus-centered Christmas experience is free to the public.
The church is located at the corner of Krotzer (Ohio 582) and Main Street in Luckey.
The public is invited to participate in this special program which reflects back to the origins of the
holiday season.
