BOWLING GREEN
The Bowling Green Ministerial Association’s "Lenten Luncheon" on Wednesday will be held from
noon to 1 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. This week Ryan Dauterman will present "GOD in
Your Finances." First Christian Church will prepare the soup and salad lunch. It is open to the
public.
Dauterman is a financial advisor for Savage Associates. He is also a board member of his church.
"Broken Justice Restored," A broken justice system put Jesus on the cross; we are restored when
by his death we are declared not guilty, is the theme for the mid-week Lenten service at Hope Lutheran
Church. This will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday in conjunction with Cloverdale United Methodist as they
jointly hold the series.
St. Aloysius Catholic Parish will feature "The Woman at the Well" at its Lenten Mondays event
at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The church also holds Stations of the Cross each Friday during Lent. Tonight will
feature a bilingual celebration with parts in both English and Spanish. April 11 will be the "Way
of the Cross with Text from the Scriptures, led by Deacon Phil Avina.
LUCKEY
Members of Zion Lutheran Church will host a Wednesday Lenten service. All of the pastors involved in the
community service will preach. Those pastors will be Dale Schaefer, Randy Winsand, Melanie Haack and
Jaci Tiell The worship begins at 7:30 p.m. The meal is at 6 p.m.
NORTH BALTIMORE
The North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry will visit St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church from noon
to 1 p.m. Wednesday for the Lenten Lunch and Devotions series. Donations provided to the NBACM.
Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic for the concluding Wednesday’s Lenten Weekday worship at St. Luke’s
Evangelical Lutheran Church will be "By Christ’s Cross, We Are New Persons," part of the
series on "The Gospel in Seven Words."
PEMBERVILLE
At 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church there will be the Lenten series,
"The Disciplines of Discipleship." Wednesday’s service will focus on "Christian
Fellowship."
STONY RIDGE
Stony Ridge United Methodist Church will hold a soup and salad dinner at 6 p.m. Wednesday for Lent,
followed by a discussion of Max Lucado’s book titled, "On Calvary’s Hill."
WESTON
"Garden of Paradise," is the Lenten theme for the 7 p.m. Wednesday theme at Grace Evangelical
Lutheran Church.
