LATCHA - Zion Lutheran Church in rural Perrysburg (Latcha), is featuring an online daily devotion for the Christmas season. The devotion, found at zionoh.org, mixes the tradition of daily devotions during the Advent season with the more modern use of social media.
Each day features a word which highlights the meaning of the season, a blog and a picture taken by photographer and graphic designer, Erik Teichmann.
"It's a wonderful way to prepare for the celebration of Jesus' birth, and we hope that by using social media we may reach out to folks who are on the go during this busy season," says Pastor Sarah Teichmann of Zion Lutheran.
The devotions and photos will continue to be posted daily through Christmas Day, and will remain archived online after the holiday season.
