(Editor's note: The following churches have reported special services for Holy Week, up to and including Maundy Thursday.) BOWLING GREEN The Bowling Green Ministerial Association will conclude its Lent Lunch series, "God and the Workplace," with a presentation by Thad Long, Associate Director of Facilities for Recreation and Wellness, BGSU. The Wednesday program will be offered at Trinity United Methodist Church from noon to 1 p.m. His topic will be "My Job, My Calling? How our faith helps us sort out the issues between what God is calling us to do and the work we do." Pastor Luke Ulrich's homily theme for the 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday at Abiding Word Evangelical Lutheran Church will be "The Man of Sorrows: Providing a Holy Meal." Members of Cloverdale United Methodist Church will join with Hope Lutheran Church for a joint Maundy Thursday service. See below. The Maundy Thursday at First United Methodist Church will be at 7 p.m. The Maundy Thursday service at Hope Lutheran Church will be at 7 p.m. St. Aloysius Catholic Parish will have a Holy Thursday prayer service at 2:10 p.m. The Mass of the Lord's Supper will be at 7 p.m., with Holy Hours observed in the gym from 8 to 10 p.m. St. Mark's Lutheran Church will hold Maundy Thursday worship services with Communion at both noon and 7 p.m. St. Thomas More University Parish will hold a Seder Meal at 5 p.m. Maundy Thursday, followed by Mass at 7:30 p.m. The Holy Thursday service at Trinity United Methodist Church will be at 7:15 p.m., with Communion. BRADNER The Maundy Thursday service at St. James Lutheran Church will be at 7:30 p.m. CYGNET The Maundy Thursday service with Holy Communion at Faith United Methodist Church will be at 7 p.m. HASKINS For Maundy Thursday at Haskins Community Church there is a soup and salad potluck at 6 p.m. Worship follows at 7 p.m. LATCHA There will be a 7:30 p.m. Maundy Thursday service at Zion Lutheran Church. LUCKEY There is a 6 p.m. Seder meal Maundy Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Ernie Sampson's sermon topic for the 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service at Zion United Methodist Church will be "God's Gift of Mercy and Wisdom." NEW ROCHESTER The Maundy Thursday at St. Paul Lutheran Church is at 7:30 p.m. NORTH BALTIMORE Rev. Susan Kronbach's theme for the 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service at Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will be a remembrance of Jesus' last supper with his followers. It will include Holy Communion. The Maundy Thursday service at St. Luke's Evangelical Lutheran Church is at 7:30 p.m. PEMBERVILLE Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold Maundy Thursday services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. First United Presbyterian Church will host community vespers services at 7 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. The church will also hold its Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Pastor Jeanne English will preach on "Lavish Love" at the 7:30 p.m. Contemporary Maundy Thursday service at Sonfire by the River. PERRYSBURG Blessed John XXIII Parish will hold its Mass of the Last Supper at 7 p.m. Holy Thursday with washing of feet and solemn process to Gethsemane. PORTAGE For Maundy Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church there will be a brief Communion service in the sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. That will be followed by a carry-in meal in the Fellowship Hall. ROSSFORD Rossford United Methodist Church will hold a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. STONY RIDGE The Maundy Thursday service at St. John Lutheran Church will be at 7:30 p.m. WATERVILLE First Presbyterian Church of Waterville will Hold a 7 p.m. Maundy Thursday service celebrating the Lord's Supper. WAYNE There will be a 7:15 p.m. service for Maundy Thursday at Wayne United Methodist Church. WESTON The Maundy Thursday at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church will include the Lord's Supper at 7 p.m. |
