WATERVILLE - A comedy is planned for March 15-17 at Waterville United Methodist Church.
"The Education of Angels" is considered to be a "family-friendly comedy" which is written by Matthew Carlin.
Proceeds will benefit both the Anthony Wayne and the Otsego food pantries with 15 percent reserved for the church's "Dig-a-well in Africa" fund.
The play will be staged on the first two days at 7:30 p.m., with the final production at 1:30 p.m. March 17.
The synopsis calls the play, "Witty and extremely funny with a message that will touch every heart ... and the formula that will endear this play to audiences for years to come."
It focuses on two angels in training sent back to Earth.
There are no advanced ticket sales. Canned goods and non-perishable food items are welcome at the door.
There will also be a freewill offering following the production.
There is also a dinner theater option available for the March 16 show.
This will be a lasagna dinner served at 6:30 p.m. prior to that day's performance. Adult meals are $7, and $5 for children. Seating is limited and reservations are required by March 10 for the dinner by calling (419) 878-3645.
Proceeds from the dinner benefit will benefit the youth mission trip.
The church is located at 102 N. Fifth Street, Waterville.
