On Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., the Bowling Green Ministerial Association will offer the churches and the community of Bowling Green an evening event of dessert, music and prayers. The event is entitled "Evensong," and will be held in the fenced "Presbyterian Park," owned by the Presbyterian church on South Grove Street near West Wooster Street, just south of the church.
The participating churches will be providing desserts to share and enjoy. A variety of musicians from First United Methodist Church, First Christian Church and Trinity United Methodist Church will provide sets of instrumental and vocal music, including some campfire style group singing.
At around 8:30 p.m. the event will transition toward a quiet, close-of-the-day worship time, reflective of the Taize worship traditions, with music and prayer.
All churches of Bowling Green have been invited to participate and the community at large is welcome. There is no admission fee.
