|Dubai experiences shared on Sunday|

ROSSFORD - The public is invited to share in the rich experiences of Dan and Elaine Johnson who spent three years teaching and learning as the lived among the people of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. They will be speaking at 10 a.m. Sunday at Rossford United Methodist Church.
Dan Johnson, President Emeritus of the University of Toledo and Distinguished University Professor of Public Policy and Economic Development, will be sharing his view of "The Culture of Dubai: Our Experiences and Observations;" while Elaine Johnson will be talking about "Dubai: A Rich Spiritual Experience as a Christian. In 2008."
He was invited to the United Arab Emirates to become Provost and Chief Operating Officer of During his tenure as Provost at Zayed University , he worked closely with the Minister of Higher Education and Research in building a new, world-class campus in Abu Dhabi, developed cooperative relationships with several universities in UAE and numerous countries, fostered the research agenda of the university and prepared it for re-accreditation. She participated in and discovered the richness of the spiritual and worship life of the people as she shared her life with the people.
The public is invited to attend the program at the church, 440 Dixie Highway, Rossford.
