BOWLING GREEN
Pastor Paul Lange's theme Sunday at Abiding Word Evangelical Lutheran Church will be "Jesus Invites Us to His Great Banquet."

"A Nation Adrift," will be Pastor Dennis Gugger's sermon Sunday at Bowling Green Alliance Church.

Evangelist Harold Driver's sermon Sunday morning at Bowling Green Church of Christ will be "Defeating the Giants." The evening service will be "Sing a Song."

Church of the Nazarene will host a Gridiron Men's event Saturday (See related story.)

Rev. Howard Mayne's sermon Sunday at Cloverdale United Methodist Church will be "The Risen Christ."

"Bloodline - Where did the 'Races' Come From?" will be Pastor Tom Mullins' message Sunday morning at First Baptist Church, continuing the series, "Origins: Creation, Evolution and the Christian."

The program Sunday at Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be "Finding Our Ecological Integrity," by Rev. Lynn Kerr.

On Sunday at Plain Congregational Church those attending will spend time in small groups for guided prayer based upon Colossians in lieu of a traditional sermon.

Pastor Denny Maurer's theme for Sunday's services at St. Mark's Lutheran Church will be "The Lord Will Provide."

Trinity United Methodist Church will welcome its new pastor Dana Ward on Sunday. His first message will be "Getting Started."

Pastor Larry Whatley's sermon Sunday at Turning Point United Methodist Church will be "Only One Way to Remove the Stain of Sin."

The sermon by David K. Boswell, minister, Sunday at Village View Church of Christ will be "Helpless and Hurting."

Rev. Susan Kronbach's sermon Sunday at Bairdstown United Methodist Church  will continue the series on "What Do Disciples Do?, Sunday's topic will be sharing Jesus' conversation about defining discipleship from Matthew's gospel.

Pastor Jeff Ridenour's sermon Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church will be "Have You Heard the One About the Traveling Preacher?"

BRADNER
Rev. Jeff Ridenour concludes his seven-year ministry to the Bradner community and Bradner United Methodist Church with a service of departure with his sermon, "Have You Heard the One About the Traveling Preacher?" The church members will share memories and hold a potluck dinner after church for the Ridenour family.

Rev. Melanie Haack's sermon Sunday at St. James Lutheran Church will be "Two-for-One: Peter and Paul."

Pastor Randy Winsand's sermon Sunday at Zion Lutheran Church will be "Death and Resurrection."

Pastor Judith Frank's sermon topic Sunday at Zion United Methodist Church will be "Praise the Lord."

NEW ROCHESTER
Pastor Dale Schaefer's message Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church will be "What's My/Our Hospitality Factor?" The church will be receiving three new members (disciples) at the service.

NORTH BALTIMORE

Pastor Jim Miller's sermon Sunday at First United Presbyterian Church will be "There's a New World Coming, and it's Here: the Kingdom of God."  

Pastor Grant Montgomery's sermon Sunday at Pemberville United Methodist Church will be "Family Woes."

Guest speakers Rev, Timothy Sonnenberg and his wife, Diane Sonnenberg on Sunday at Sonfire by the River will speak about their missionary work in Tanzania.

Tontogany Presbyterian Church will begin a series of messages that connect with the Presbyterian Church USA's recent General Assembly theme, "Abound in Hope." Pamela Short will bring a message on the biblical basis for the Belhar confession, a statement of faith against racism.

WAYNE
"Welcome," will be Rev. Mark Kuhlman's sermon Sunday at Wayne United Methodist Church.

WESTON
Pastor Chris Boggs' sermon Sunday at Sonlight Church and Community Center will be "A Place of Refuge." This will be the Weston Community Service with special music provided by Tim Tiderman and One Spirit. A potluck follows.

Rev. James Stewart's sermon Sunday at Weston United Methodist Church will be "Steps Toward Truth."
