Panel discussion set
Veritas, a student group at St. Thomas More University Parish and Foundation for Life, invite the public
to attend a panel discussion with a child conceived in rape, a child conceived in incest, and a mother
who risked her own life to give her child the gift of life. It will be held at 7 p.m. Monday at the
Ballroom at the Bowen-Thompson Student Union on the campus of BGSU.
The panel discussion will focus on such topics as abortion, difficult choices, rape, incest and the life
of the mother. A question and answer session will follow. The event is free and open to the public. For

Egg hunt is Saturday
Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, will host a Community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday beginning
at 10 a.m.
Children ages 12 and younger are invited to the church to hunt for Easter eggs, play games and enjoy a
fun activity.
Parish nurse course offered
Faith Community Nursing is offering a 4-day basic educational course to prepare nurses to deliver
holistic health care to members of a faith community. The "Basic Parish Nurse" education
course will be offered on April 29 through May 2, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day at Hospice of Northwest
Ohio, Toledo. The fee is $350.

Rummage sale planned
MAUMEE – St. Joseph’s Community Center, 120 W. Broadway, Maumee, will hold a rummage sale April 25 from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. and April 26, 9 a.m. The final day prices will be $2 per paper grocery bag of clothes and
half price on other items.
The sale is held at the school and those attending are asked to use the back service entrance in the
alley off of Allen Street.
