Ballroom Mass plannedSt. Thomas More University Parish will hold its annual Ballroom Mass on Dec.
8 in the Lenhart Grand Ballroom on the campus of Bowling Green State University.The 8 p.m. Mass is being
held in lieu of both the 5 and 9 p.m. Masses that day.Because most of the students are gone from Bowling
Green at Christmas, this annual festive Mass celebrates the spirit of Christmas while still in the Advent
season and is a farewell celebration for the students.The public is invited.Advent workshop setFirst United
Methodist Church, 1526 E. Wooster St in Bowling Green is holding their annual Advent workshop on Sunday from
12:30-3:30 p.m.The Advent Workshop is a long-standing event at the church for All-Ages Advent Workshop in
the Fellowship Hall featuring a soup luncheon, crafts, carols and more.The workshop is free and open to
everyone.’Deck the Halls’ saleThe missions committee of Trinity United Methodist Church, 200 N. Summit St.,
Bowling Green, will hold a "Deck the Halls" sale to raise money for food baskets for families in
need.The sale will be Dec. 6-7, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days in the church basement.The sale will
feature both new and used decorations, lights, holiday dishes, Christmas craft supplies, holiday clothing,
gently-used toys, books and stuffed animals.There will also be a craft bazaar and bake sale. Homemade soups,
sandwiches, salads and desserts will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days, with coffee and goodies
available throughout all the open hours.An elevator is available for access.’Priceless Pancakes’ to be
servedPEMBERVILLE – "Priceless Pancakes," a free community pancake breakfast, will be served
Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. at the First United Presbyterian Church, 106 Perry, Pemberville.The public is
invited.Senior CSI event setPERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area
to attend its next meeting to be held Dec. 10 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event
is held twice each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses. This
will be the only meeting in December.There will be two programs at this session. The first will be magic by
Patrick Przysiecki. Lunch will be provided by Kingston Residence of Perrysburg. The second program will be a
white elephant exchange.Seniors should call Phyllis Morton at (419) 872-0846 for information and
reservations which need to be made by Thursday.No steak supper in Dec.McCLURE – The McClure United Methodist
Church will not have a baked steak supper in December.
