‘Dumpling Gang’ bakes againWAYNE – The Wayne United Methodist Church will again be baking apple
dumplings Tuesday through Thursday.The cost is $8 for a pan of four full apple dumplings.This will be the
last baking for the year, and they tout the dumplings are a "great addition to your holiday
meals."Pre-orders can be made by calling the church office at 419-288-3041 the church is located at 202
E. Main St., Wayne.Bowen family in concertGRAND RAPIDS – The Bobby Bowen Family will be in concert Sunday at
10:45 a.m. at New Life Community Wesleyan Church in Grand Rapids.The church is located at the corner of
Woodburn Avenue and Second Street. The concert is free.There will be an offering taken for Bowen and his
family following the worship service.Swiss steak meal, auction setTONTOGANY – Calvary United Methodist
Church will be holding a Swiss steak dinner and auction on Saturday at the Tontogany American Legion
Hall.The meal includes Swiss steak, mashed potatoes, roll, salad bar and desserts and will be served from
4:30 to 6:15 p.m. Adult meals are $9 with children 10 and under eating for $4.50.Entertainment by the Hot
Flashes will begin at 5:45 p.m. That will be followed by an auction of talents and goods at 6:20
p.m.’Renewal’ this weekendWAYNE – Wayne United Methodist Church, 202 E. Main St., Wayne, will be holding a
"Renewal and Restoration" this weekend with Richard Rhodes.The service tonight will be at 7 p.m.
On Saturday there will be a workshop from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with lunch provided. On Sunday he will lead the
10:30 a.m. worship service.Free meal offeredHASKINS – St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ohio 582, will host a free
meal Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to the spaghetti, salad and dessert meal.Senior CSI
event setPERRYSBURG – CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next
meeting to be held Nov. 26 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice each
month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for expenses.The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led
by Father Herb Weber of Blessed John XXIII Catholic Parish. Lunch is served at noon, provided by Care
