Fall bazaar planned
RISINGSUN - First Church of God, 7968 U,S. Route 23, Risingsun, will hold its "Annual Fall Bazaar" on Nov. 2 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Organizers urge people to shop early for Christmas. Many items will be available for cash and carry as well as special orders can be taken.
The event will feature direct selling vendors as well as crafts and baked goods from church members.
A portion of the proceeds will go towards the expansion of the church.

Community dinner offered
RISINGSUN - St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Risingsun, holds its monthly community dinner Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menus includes ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad bar, pie and beverage for a donation.
The public is invited.

Turkey dinner slated
DESHLER - Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Deshler will hold its annual turkey dinner on Nov. 3. Meals will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Adult meals are $8 with seniors and children eating for $6 each.
The menu features turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, salad, roll, dessert and beverages. Carry-outs are available.
There will also be a country store featuring homemade goods, cards and crafts. There is also a 50/50 raffle.

Christmas movie to be shown
RISINGSUN - First Church of God, 7968 U,S. Route 23, Risingsun, invites the public to join them for a dessert bar and to view the "Christmas Experience" movie by Kyle Idleman.
It will be held Nov. 3 beginning with the dessert bar at 6:30 p.m. The movie follows at 7 p.m.
Child care will be provided. Organizers say the movie show what it truly means to experience Christmas.

Dinner/auction set
St. George Coptic Orthodox Church invites the public to attend its 13th annual dinner/auction fundraising event at The Pinnacle, 1772 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee.
It will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Reservations are needed and can be made by calling Nabieh Mikhail at 419-353-1487 or Irene Jacob at 419-343-5016.
The money raised will be used toward the church building and various community projects.
The church is located at 4860 Waterville-Monclova Road, Monclova.
