Bradner church to host breakfast
BRADNER - The Lighthouse of Prayer is the new name for the church located at 121 Caldwell St., Bradner.
To allow the community to learn more about the church and to raise funds, it will be hosting a breakfast on Sept. 7 from 6 to 10 a.m.
The meal will include homemade biscuits and gravy, sausage or bacon, scrambled eggs, home fries, along with coffee or orange juice.
Adult meals are $ 7 with children 8 and under to eat for $ 4.
Worship services are held on Sundays at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. There is a Wednesday Bible study and prayer group at 6:30 p.m.
Rally Day breakfast set
ROSSFORD - The Rossford United Methodist Church will host a breakfast on Sept. 8 as part of its "Rally Day."
Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m. The public is invited to come and meet the Sunday School teachers for the year. Worship at follows at 10:30 a.m.
Rally Day celebration will be held following worship. There will be free food and games for all ages and the public is invited to attend.
Book fair slated
First Presbyterian Church, 126 S. Church St., Bowling Green, will host a Scholastic Book Fair on the weekend of the Black Swamp Arts Festival.
The book fair will be held Sept. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Sept. 8 from noon to 2 p.m. It will be held in the church fellowship room located in the basement.
Senior CSI event planned
PERRYSBURG - CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next meeting to be held Sept. 10 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Bishop Chris Miller of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Lunch is served at noon, provided by The Manor of Perrysburg.
The program which follows will feature the chairman of Bassett's Health Foods.
Seniors should call Phyllis Morton at (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made by Thursday.
Concerts set for 'Truck Stop Ministries'
NORTH BALTIMORE - Truck Stop Ministries, Inc., has announced concerts for September. Each of the concerts is scheduled to be held at the Trucker's Chapel located at Petro Truck Stop. The facility is located at Interstate 75 and Ohio Route 18 in North Baltimore.
The line up includes Homelighters on Sept. 1; One Voice, Sept. 8; His Servants, Sept. 15; Donna Sue, Sept. 22; and Heart Song, Sept. 29.
Each concert is set to begin at 6 p.m. Those attending should bring their own lawn chair.
