Bible school slated
Turning Point United Methodist's Vacation Bible School will be held Wednesday through next Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. It is open to kids age 16 and younger.  Refreshments will be served.  Dinner will be served next Friday. Everyone is welcome to attend at the church, 701 W. Poe Road,  sharing worship space with Lifepoint Church.  Please call the church at (419) 373-0144 to register.

Special event returns Sunday
PERRYSBURG - CedarCreek Church is hosting MOAB 2,  the second annual Mother of All Baptisms on Sunday.
It is an evening of live outdoor music featuring the band, Unspoken, along with CedarCreek's band, beginning at 6 p.m. There will be free food, Inflatables, then the evening wraps up with a magnificent fireworks display at 10 p.m.  Everyone is welcome with free parking and a free shuttle.

Evangelist Harold Driver's sermon Sunday morning at Bowling Green Church of Christ will be "Living on the Edge." Josh Rubel  will be preaching on "Choices" at the afternoon  service

Rev. Howard Mayne's sermon Sunday at Cloverdale United Methodist Church will be "Barriers to the Abundant Life - Unforgiveness."

"Exiles Living for Jesus," will be Pastor Tom Mullins' message Sunday morning at First Baptist Church. It is the first in a new series  from 1 Peter.

Rev. Brent Pomeroy's sermon Sunday at First Christian Church will be "Our Two Natures."

Pastor Tom Mellott's sermon Sunday at First United Methodist Church will be "There Is a Spirit Within."

The program Sunday at Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be "Connections: Native Americans and Earth," by Bob Bodi.

Pastor Henry Seibert's theme for this weekend's services at St. Mark's Lutheran Church will be "It's all About Relationships, Still."

"When Our Beliefs Fail Us," will be Rev. Eric McGlade's sermon Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Guest speaker Christopher Jointer's sermon Sunday at Turning Point United Methodist Church will be "It's Time for a Turning Point."

The sermon by David K. Boswell, minister, Sunday at Village View Church of Christ will be "Shadow of the Cross."

Guest preacher Joan White's sermon Sunday at Bairdstown United Methodist Church will  be on the story of Martha and Mary.

BRADNER
Preacher Dan Horner's sermon Sunday at Bradner Community Christian Church will be "The Best Friends Money can Buy."

Sunday's service at St. James Lutheran Church will focus on "The Neighbor in the Mirror."

Pastor Dean Durant's sermon Sunday at Faith United Methodist Church will be "Change Is God's Gift."

There will be a One Voice concert Sunday at Hoytville United Methodist Church.

The high school youth will lead the worship Sunday at Sonfire by the River. The message will be given by Katie Recker, youth adviser for the church and St. Paul's Lutheran, New Rochester.

Benjamin Short, a student at Memphis Theological Seminary, will be the guest preacher Sunday at Tontogany Presbyterian Church. He will focus on God's call to receive mercy and be made whole through God's grace.
