Area graduation services set
NORTH BALTIMORE - The North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry is sponsoring its annual Baccalaureate Service for the North Baltimore High School Class of 2012.
This year's service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist, 119 W. Broadway St.  
Those in attendance will be sharing in worship led by members of the senior class, remembering where they have been and looking forward to where they are going.
The public is invited to join with the students, celebrate their accomplishments, and "pray them on their way." Organizers want to include the whole community in supporting and celebrating with the graduating seniors.
PEMBERVILLE - The Eastwood High School Baccalaureate Service will be held at 7 p.m. May 29 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge. Pastor Matthew Musteric's sermon will be "Wrestling With God and Blessed by God."
The public is welcome.

Youth fundraiser offers games, breakfast and rummage sale
DUNBRIDGE - A large inside and outside rummage sale will be held May 28 to June 4 at Christ's Bible Church, 11040 Middleton Pike (Ohio 582) in Dunbridge. The major part of the event will be June 2, when there will be games and hot dogs and a beverage available until 3 p.m.  The pancakes will be served from 8 a.m. to noon.
Games include a coloring contest, pie eating, water balloon toss, volleyball and many others. There will also be a silent auction.
All proceeds will be used to help the church's youth group attend camp at Lake James, Indiana.

Evangelist featured
Dr. Stanley Nicholas Jack will be the guest speaker at the 11 a.m. Sunday service for Turning Point Community Church, 701 W. Poe Road.
Jack is the founder and overseer of Shamar International Ministries. He is recognized as a prophetic speaker and teacher, revivalist and author. He has written 10 books including his best-seller, "Journey To Spiritual Maturity, The Four Essential Levels." He has also been featured on many television and on radio shows.
Jack currently serves in the capacity as an apostolic leader and covering. He travels extensively as an international speaker and promotes and organizes his ministries' two major annual conferences.

Growth and evangelism lecture offered at Orthodox Cathedral
ROSSFORD - The fourth annual "Ss. Cyril & Methodius Lecture on Growth and Evangelism" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 738 Glenwood Road, Rossford.
The speaker will be Father Papul Monkowski, priest of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church in Lorain.
The program will be "Does Orthodoxy Fit Into Your Culture?" The service will begin with vespers for the named saints followed by remarks from Monkowski.
Fellowship and further discussion will follow in the church hall featuring strawberry shortcake, ice cream and whipped topping.

Free community meal Monday
STONY RIDGE - A free community meal sponsored  by People Feeding People will be offered Monday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the parish hall of Stony Ridge Lutheran church, 5520 Fremont Pike. The meal is held on the third Monday of each month and is open to everyone.
