Kick-off concert set for 'Truck Stop Ministries'
NORTH BALTIMORE - Truck Stop Ministries, Inc., has announced its gala "Summer Kick-off Concert" for May 19 from 1 to 7 p.m. It will  be held at the Trucker's Chapel located at Petro Truck Stop. The facility is located at Interstate 75 and Ohio Route 18 in North Baltimore.
The line up includes Cornerstone Gospel, One Voice, Donna Sue, Jake Reel, Heart Song, Jimmy Potridge, Chris Baldwin, Marlene Vance, Testimony Quartet, Francie Bond, Pat Roberts and Paula Barron.
Those attending should bring their own lawn chair.

Mothers invited
PEMBERVILLE - Members and guests are invited to bring their mother to a special 5 p.m. worship Sunday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Pemberville. Joel Yeasting will give the message on the "Fruits of the Spirit." There will be special songs by the "Singers and Ringers" along with music by Ps98. A soup and salad dinner will follow at 6 p.m.

Paskvan in concert
SUGAR RIDGE - Abby Paskvan will hold a concert at 6 p.m. May 19 at Sugar Ridge Community church, 11634 Sugar Ridge Road.
The public is invited to attend and hear Paskvan, who the church says is a "very gifted young gospel singer."

Pancakes to be served
GRAND RAPIDS - There will be a pancake breakfast 8-11 a.m. Saturday at New Life Community Wesleyan Church, located at the corner of Woodburn Avenue and Second Street in Grand Rapids. The cost is a donation of any amount. Call the church at (419) 494-2792 for details.

Soup and salad lunch offered
The congregation of Hope Lutheran Church, 13507 Cloverdale Road, will host a soup and salad luncheon in the fellowship hall Sunday from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Donations will benefit the Community Vacation Bible School and Lutheran Indian Ministries. The menu includes chicken noodle and potato soups, sausage and barbecue beef sandwiches, along with a variety of salads and desserts.
