Household items offered free
NEW ROCHESTER — St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church is holding a “Household items and clothing give-away” Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the church, 14545 North River Road, New Rochester.

Irish lunch on Sunday
First Presbyterian Church, Bowling Green, invites the public to join them after the Sunday morning service for an Irish-theme lunch. Items served will include a Shepherd’s Pie, Irish Stew, and soda bread. Donations will be accepted, and will benefit the church’s delegation to the Presbyterian Youth Triennium in July. Those wearing your green may get a prize.  Those not wearing green are still welcome for fellowship and fun.

St. Patrick's dinner served
CUSTAR - St. Louis School and Parish, Ohio 281 Custar, will be hosting a St. Patrick's Day dinner Saturday from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Those attending will have a choice of baked steak or chicken dinner with all the usual extras. Carry Outs are available.
Proceeds benefit the Tuition Assistance Fund.

Area handbell ringers off to Fort Wayne for conference
Four handbell ringers from the teen and adult handbell choirs of First Christian Church in Bowling Green, along with their director, Kathy Rupp will participate tonight and all day Saturday in the Handbell Festival Conference in Fort Wayne, Ind.

Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG - CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next meeting to be held March 26 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Elder Dennis Miller of Hope in Christ Church. Lunch is served at noon, provided by Ridgewood Manor.
The program which follows will be "Enhancement Kits" for the Toledo Zoo.
Seniors should call Phyllis Morton at (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made by Thursday.

Movie night on Saturday
SUGAR RIDGE - The Sugar Ridge Community Church, 11634 Sugar Ridge Road, will hold another of its ongoing series of free "Movie Nights" on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the church.
"Hidden in Silence" will be shown. Snacks will be served and the public is invited to attend this free event.
Church organizers call this a "film you are sure to enjoy." It focuses on a true story of a young woman's selfless commitment and unwavering resolve.
