Dinner concert planned at 'Truck Stop Ministries'
NORTH BALTIMORE - Truck Stop Ministries, Inc., is planning a "Dinner Concert" on March 10 featuring Cornerstone Gospel. It will be held at the Iron Skillet Restaurant, located at the Petro Truck Stop, 12900 Deshler Road.
Dinner will be served at 5 p.m. The concert follows at 6 p.m.
Pancake day set
HASKINS - An all-you-can-eat "Pancake Day" at Haskins Community Church, 209 W. Main St., on March 9.
Serving will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. The menu will feature whole hog sausage, "light and fluffy" pancakes, applesauce and a beverage.
Adult meals are $8 with children age 4-10 eating for $2. Children age 3 and under are free.
There is an elevator available on the east side of the building for those who need it.
Senior CSI event set
PERRYSBURG - CSI, Christian Seniors Interacting, invite all seniors in the area to attend its next meeting to be held March 12 at Abundant Life No. 2, 200 Zoar Drive, Perrysburg. The event is held twice each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There is a $3 charge for miscellaneous expenses.
The 11:30 a.m. Bible study will be led by Pastor Tim Philabaum of Zoar Lutheran Church. Lunch is served at noon, provided by St. Clare Commons.
The program which follows will be "War of 1812" with Clint Mauk.
Seniors should call Phyllis Morton at (419) 872-0846 for information and reservations which need to be made by Thursday.
Baked steak supper
McCLURE - The McClure United Methodist Church will have a baked steak supper next Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Carry-outs are available.
A free-will offering will be taken. The church is located on Ohio 65, just south of U.S. Route 6.
Holy Week and Easter deadlines set
The Sentinel-Tribune will again try to provide as much information as possible for area churches as they observe Holy Week and Easter (or Resurrection Sunday.)
