Northwest Ohio Catholics attended March for Life
Hundreds of youth and adults from churches and schools in Northwest Ohio traveled to Washington this week
to participate in the annual March for Life on Wednesday.
The event draws tens of thousands of youth and pro-life supporters from across the country each year to
mark the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion.
Among those who were scheduled to participate were 50 students and chaperones from St. Wendelin Catholic
School in Fostoria; the youth group from St. Rose of Lima in Perrysburg, who joined with similar groups
from three Toledo churches to send another 50 youth and chaperones and 110 college students and
parishioners from St. Thomas More University Parish in Bowling Green.
