PERRYSBURG - Tonight CedarCreek Church will be hosting "A Night Wrapped in Red."
This evening will honor the residents of Cherry Street Mission and the Sparrows Nest. The guests will be transported to the Perrysburg Campus for a holiday celebration.
The evening will start off with a candlelight dinner and live entertainment, followed by an exclusive CedarCreek Christmas service, concluding with a dessert bar, gifts and a plate of homemade Christmas cookies.
It is the church's goal to recognize and inspire these residents and the staffs of both organizations.
"This isn't about providing a meal, this is about showing these residents that they matter to God and our community," according to the organizational publicity.
There will be more than 200 residents and staff as well as several hundred CedarCreek volunteers participating, preparing and serving the dinner.
ProMedica is partnering with the church, the University of Toledo is providing transportation, with Key Bank and Honey Baked Ham also contributing to the event.
