BOWLING GREEN
Ash Wednesday at Cloverdale United Methodist Church will focus on "Broken Hearts Restored," as
the Lenten series conducted with Hope Lutheran Church begins. The service is at 7 p.m. (See the complete
schedule elsewhere.)
St. Aloysius Catholic Parish will hold its Ash Wednesday Masses at 7:30 and 9:15 a.m, and 7 p.m.
Additional ash distribution services will be held at noon and 5:30 p.m. Ashes for the Religious
Education group will be at 7:15 p.m.
St. Thomas More University Parish will hold its Ash Wednesday Masses at 7a.m. and 12:15 p.m. in the
chapel and at 5 and 9 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom.
BRADNER
To begin the Lenten season on Ash Wednesday at St. James Lutheran Church there will be a 7:30 p.m.
Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion service.
HASKINS
Ash Wednesday at Haskins Community Church will be observed with a potluck at 6 p.m. The service will
follow at 7 p.m.
NORTH BALTIMORE
The Ash Wednesday service at Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will be held at 7 p.m.
Holy Family Parish will host the North Baltimore Area Cooperative Ministry community Ash Wednesday
service and Lenten Lunch from noon to 1 p.m.
Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic 7:15 p.m. Ash Wednesday at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will
be "The Gospel In Seven Words: God Calls Us, Giving Us Undeserved Grace." This will be the
first in a series of six sermons based on Galatians:
PEMBERVILLE
Ash Wednesday at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church will be observed with a service of Holy Communion
at the Imposition of Ashes at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. The theme will be "Sacrificial Giving."
PERRYSBURG
Blessed John XXIII Parish will hold its Ash Wednesday services at 9 a.m. as well as 5 and 7 p.m.
St. Rose Catholic Church will have Ash Wednesday Masses at 7 and 9:15 a.m., 5:30 and 7 p.m. There will
also be a "Liturgy of the Word with Ashes" service at 12:15 p.m. and an All School Mass at 2
p.m.
WESTON
Rev. James Stewart’s sermon for the 7 p.m. Ash Wednesday service at Weston United Methodist Church will
be "Celebrate the Journey."
