African wells supported by play

WATERVILLE – Theater-for-the-World and the Waterville United Methodist Church are teaming up for their
ninth production.
This year will feature a family-friendly comedy, "Stealing Home," by Pat Cook. The show will be
tonight and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with a matinee Sunday at 1:30 p.m. All shows will be at Waterville
United Methodist Church, 102 N. Fifth St.
This story takes place, not on a baseball diamond as the title might suggest, but in a funeral home.
Organizers indicate "there are lots of interesting characters, some accents, physical comedy and
some great one-liners." It is considered a family-friendly production
Cast members include Elden and Linda Lee, Andy and Sarah Dysard and Marge Sudheime, all of Toledo; Anna
Emahiser and Charlene Hansen, both of Waterville, The production is under the direction of Tom and Karen
Wiggins as well as Brian Schultz, all currently or formerly of Waterville.
There are no advance ticket sales. Canned goods and non-perishable items are welcome at the door. There
will be a free-will offering taken. All proceeds will help three local food pantries with 15 percent of
monetary donations being saved for the "Dig-a-well in Africa" fund. The public is invited to
attend.
