BOWLING GREEN
Pastor Ted Gullixson’s sermon for the 6:30 a.m. Easter sunrise service at Abiding Word Evangelical
Lutheran Church will be "What do We Know About Easter?" For the Easter Festival service it
will be "Christ Is not Here, But is Risen!" Easter Breakfast will be served from 7:30 to 9
a.m. It is served by the Ladies of Abiding Word.
"It’s not the End … It’s the Beginning," will be Pastor Dennis Gugger’s sermon for the 10
a.m. Easter worship at Bowling Green Alliance Church.
Easter at Brookside Church will feature "vibrant music" and a "message relevant to your
everyday life" at its 10 a.m. worship in Olscamp Hall. An Easter egg hunt follows at 11:15 a.m.
Easter worship at Christ’s Church in Bowling Green will include a "Son"rise service at 7:30
a.m. An Easter breakfast and egg hunt will be held from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Worship begins 10:30 a.m.
Church of the Nazarene will hold its Easter Celebration at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
Rev. Howard Mayne’s sermon for the 7:30 a.m. Sonrise Easter service at Cloverdale United Methodist Church
will be "Resurrection?" The regular service message at 9:30 a.m. will be the answer to the
question with "Resurrection."
"Reverse, Death Worked Backwards," will be the theme for the 10:30 a.m. Easter service at First
Baptist Church. Free breakfast will be served at 9:30 a.m.
Rev. Brent Pomeroy’s sermon for the 10:45 a.m. Easter worship at First Christian Church will be "A
Song of Love, A Song of Life." Breakfast will be served at 8:30 a.m. Sunday School is at 9:30 a.m.

On Palm Sunday at First Presbyterian Church "The Life of Christ, Part I" was narrated by three
angels. "The Life of Christ, Part II" takes up where that story ended as the resurrection is
celebrated with the dramatic play at the 10 a.m. Easter worship.
First United Methodist Church will hold Easter worship services at 8:45 and 11 a.m. Pastor Tom Mellott’s
sermon will be "Like the Angel Said …" The early service will be led by the Praise Team;
while the latter service will be led by the Chancel Choir. Sunday School is at 10 a.m.
Grace Brethren Church will hold its Easter Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m.
Hope Lutheran Church will be celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus our Lord at its Sunrise service at 7
a.m. The youth will be leading this service, with a play based on memories of the Resurrection. An
Easter breakfast follows at 7:45 a.m. The Easter Communion Celebration will be at a special time of 8:45
a.m. It will be a service of praise in music, song, word and sacrament.
The program Sunday at Maumee Valley Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be "We Shall See: An
Easter Story," presented by a multi-generational ensemble with Rev. Lynn Kerr.
Peace Lutheran Church will celebrate Easter with a buffet potluck breakfast at 8:45 a.m. The "Sacred
Space Restoration" will be at 9 :45 a.m. There will be one worship service at 10 a.m.
Plain Congregational Church celebrates ‘Our Risen Savior" at 10:15 a.m. Senior Pastor Steve Baney
will ask, "What Does it Mean for Jesus to be Lord? What Happens if We Don’t Continue to Live in
Him?"
St. Aloysius Catholic Parish will hold its Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday will be at 8 p.m. The
Easter Sunday Mass will be at 10 a.m.
Easter worship at St. John’s Episcopal Church will be at 10 a.m.
Pastor Denny Maurer’s theme for both the 8:30 and 11 a.m. Easter services at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church
will be "Rejoice!" Easter Breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m.
St. Thomas More University Parish will hold its Easter Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday will be at 8 p.m.
Easter Sunday Masses will be held at 8 and 10 a.m. and noon.
"Some See, Some Don’t," will be Rev. Eric McGlade’s sermon for the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Easter
services at Trinity United Methodist Church. Easter breakfast is served at 9:15 a.m.
Turning Point United Methodist Church will have a sunrise breakfast with pancakes and sausage at 9 a.m.
Easter Sunday at the church. That will be followed by Sunday school and worship service at 11 a.m.
Village View Church of Christ will celebrate Easter Sunday with a 7 a.m. Sonrise service; Easter
Breakfast at 8 a.m. and an egg hunt at 9 a.m. The church’s choir will bring its Easter Cantata called,
"Waiting on the Son" written by Bettie Dawn Boswell at the 10 a.m. service.
Wood County Baptist Church will serve breakfast at 9 a.m. Easter Sunday. Easter services will begin at
10:30 a.m.
BAIRDSTOWN
Rev. Susan Kronbach’s sermon for the 9:15 a.m. Easter worship at Bairdstown United Methodist Church will
be a traditional message of resurrection entitled, "Christ is Risen!"
BLOOMDALE
Pastor Jeff Ridenour’s sermon for the 7:30 a.m. Sonrise Easter worship at Trinity United Methodist Church
will be ""Papa Moved a Rolling Stone." Continental breakfast to follow. "A Rolling
Stone Gathers ‘No mas’" is the message for the service at 9 a.m.
BRADNER
Preacher Dan Horner’s sermon for the 8:30 a.m. Sonrise Easter service at Bradner Community Christian
Church will conclude his Easter sermon series, "Selfies."
Fellowship with coffee and rolls will be offered at 10 a.m. Easter morning at Bradner United Methodist
Church. "A Rolling Stone Gathers ‘No mas’" will be Pastor Jeff Ridenour’s sermon at the
worship at 10:30 a.m.
St. James Lutheran Church will begin its Easter Celebration at the shelter house in Bradner Park with a
sunrise service at 8 a.m. Refreshments will be served at the church between that service and the regular
worship at 10 a.m. Rev. Melanie Haack’s sermon will be "An Unexpected Word."

St. Louis Catholic Church will have it Resurrection of the Lord Mass at 9:30 a.m. Easter Sunday.

Pastor Dean Durant’s sermon for the 10:30 a.m. Easter worship at Faith United Methodist Church will be
"I Have Seen the Lord." There will be a "Continental Style" Fellowship breakfast
from 9:30 a.m. until the worship begins.
DOWLING
Easter worship at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church will include a Sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. Easter
breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The festival worship is at 10:15 a.m.
DUNBRIDGE
Pastor Dale Smeltzer’s message for the 10:30 a.m. Easter worship at Christ’s Bible Church will be
"The Triumph of God’s Son."
GRAND RAPIDS
St. Patrick (Providence) Catholic Parish will have a Night Watch of the Resurrection/Easter Vigil Service
of Light at 8 p.m. Saturday. The Resurrection of the Lord Masses on Easter Sunday will be at 8 and 11
a.m.
"Jesus: The Champion," will be Rev. Dwayne Beggs’ message for the 7:30 a.m. Easter Sunrise
service at First Presbyterian Church. Breakfast will be served after the service. His sermon title for
the 10:30 a.m. worship will be "Life’s Tough and Then You …"
HASKINS
Rev. Jennifer Jackson’s sermon for the 9:30 a.m. Easter Festival worship service celebration at Haskins
Community Church will be "Living in Easter Hope."
St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold an Easter Sunrise service at 7 a.m. Breakfast follows at

Faith United Methodist Church will be having an Easter sunrise service at 7 a.m. A breakfast will follow
at 8 a.m. Pastor Pete Johnston’s sermon at the 9 a.m. service will be "Fear and Joy."
The "Celebration of the Resurrection" service at Salem Grace United Lutheran Church will be at
10:15 a.m. Easter
Pastor Randy Winsand’s sermon for the 10:15 a.m. Traditional Easter worship service at Zion Lutheran

NEW ROCHESTER
There will be a Family Easter Egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
NORTH BALTIMORE
Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist will celebrate Easter Sunday with two worship services. At 8
a.m. the Youth Fellowship will offer its "2014 Sonrise Service" of drama, country music and
scripture, telling the story of the resurrection in modern terms. Following the service will be an
Easter breakfast, followed by an Easter egg hunt for the children. For the 10:15 a.m. Easter traditional
service, the choir will present the cantata "Wonderful Savior."
Pastor Jon Rhinehart’s sermon title Easter at Praise Chapel Pentecostal Church of God will be "What
a Beautiful Morning."
"Easter: The Past, Present, the Future," will be Pastor Rick Adams’ message for Easter at St.
James United Methodist Church.
Sunday begins with Easter breakfast at 9 a.m. at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church followed by a
procession to begin the Festival Resurrection service. Pastor Ralph Mineo’s sermon topic for the
celebration of the "Resurrection of Our Lord on Easter" will be "Window 12:
Resurrection," the 12th in a series based on the Apostle’s Creed looking through the church
windows. The service begins at 10:15 a.m.
PEMBERVILLE
Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church will hold "The Great Vigil of Easter" on Saturday at 7
p.m. Pastor Matthew Musteric’s sermon for Easter at worship at both 8 and 10:30 a.m. will be
"Making His Bed." Breakfast will be served at 9:15 a.m.
Pastor Jim Miller’s sermon for the 10:30 a.m. Easter worship at First United Presbyterian Church will be
"Seeing is not Believing."
Pemberville United Methodist Church will have a Sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. Easter Breakfast will be
held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Pastor Bridgett Clark’s sermon at the traditional 11 a.m. Easter worship
will be "Hidden Hope."
To celebrate Easter, Sonfire by the River will be hosting a free breakfast at 9 a.m. at Higher Ground
Coffee Shop. Pastor Al Baumann will be preaching and conducting communion
at the 10:30 a.m. worship service.
PERRYSBURG
Blessed John XXIII Parish will hold its Holy Saturday Easter Vigil at 7 p.m. with the admission of the
RCIA candidates into the church. There will be no 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday.
Easter Sunday Masses will be at 8, 9:45 and 11:30 a.m.
CedarCreek Church will feature a modern story line combined with the greatest love story ever told, The
Passion of Christ for its Easter services. There will be eight performances at all four locations and
online. Service times are tonight at 5:15 and 7 p.m.; Saturday at 3:30, 5:15 and 7 p.m.; and Sunday at 9

St. Rose Catholic Church will have an 11:30 a.m. "Blessing of the Food" in church on Saturday
at 11:30 a.m. The Easter Vigil Mass will be at 8:30 p.m. There will be no 5 p.m. Mass on Saturday. For
Easter Sunday, Masses will be held at 7 a.m. in the church; 8:30 a.m. in the gym. At 10:15 a.m., there
will be two simultaneous Masses, one in the gym and one in the church. There will also be a noon Mass in
the church. There will be no 5 p.m. Mass on Sunday.
St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church will hold its services at 9 a.m. Holy Saturday and both 8 and 10 a.m.
Easter Sunday.
Zoar Lutheran Church will have an Easter egg hunt at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Easter Vigil service will be
at 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be a "Sunrise Worship" at 6 a.m. Easter morning at Fort Meigs
Cemetery. Holy Communion services on Easter will be at 7, 9 and 11 a.m.
RUDOLPH
Pastor Larry Garzony’s sermon for the 7:30 a.m. Easter Sunrise service at Rudolph Christian Church will
be "Check the Rock." For the 10:30 a.m. worship service, it will be "Easter – What a
Difference."
STONY RIDGE
St. John Lutheran Church will seek for people to "Discover Hope" at its Easter services at 8:30
and 10:45 a.m. Sunday. Easter breakfast will be served from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
At 8 a.m. on Easter at Stony Ridge United Methodist Church the choir will perform a cantata entitled,
"The Blood Will Never Lose its Power." This will be followed by an Easter sunrise breakfast.
Sunday School follows at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Robert E. May’s sermon for the 10:30 a.m. traditional worship
will be "Future Perfect."
SUGAR RIDGE
Sugar Ridge Community Church will have a Sunrise Service at 8 a.m. Breakfast will follow. Pastor John
Randall’s sermon for the 10:30 a.m. Easter worship will be "My Comforting Apostle."
WAYNE
Mt. Zion United Brethren Church will be "Focusing on the Risen Savior" at its 7 a.m. Sunrise
Service. Breakfast will follow at 8 a.m. The morning worship will be held at 9:30 a.m.
Wayne Wesleyan Chapel will hold its worship at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.
"With Him, in Him, Through Him," will be Rev. Mark Kuhlman’s sermon for the 10:30 a.m.

WESTON
The theme for the 6:30 a.m. Easter Sunrise worship at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church is "Children
of the Resurrection" with guest preacher Rev. Thomas Smuda. Breakfast will follow. The theme for
the 10 a.m. Easter Day worship will be "Garden of Glory."
Pastor Chris Boggs’ sermon for the 10 a.m. Easter worship at Sonlight Church and Community Center will be
"The Resurrection of Jesus Christ: The Best News You’ll Ever Hear!"
Joe Case will be speaking for the 7:30 a.m. Sunrise Service at Weston Church of Christ. Breakfast will be
served at 8:15 a.m., followed by the worship service at 9:30 a.m. Rick Broughton’s message at the later
